Beaches

This poem was inspired by the ‘beaches’ collage I created. After COVID we all took many beach walks to enjoy our freedom. These walks , for me, blossomed a new and special friendship.

“The world is as unlimited

As our imagination

Full and free

They say the glass is full

If you have eaten with your eyes

I say there is no glass

Just sky

The tickling winds

Even the gusts

Fill through me just like us

You’re all my favourite things

Candy, pearls, hugs and sleep-ins

Making me full

Full full

Of you and me”
